Brief was to provide a large new build family house on large, wide plot with falls to the rear.
Client wanted a traditional appearance and feel.
Initially the scheme was prepared using facing brickwork with extensive stone detailing as the main wall finish. The final design replaced brick with natural local stone.
Client called for the house entrance, including the triple garage, to address the main road frontage to front. At the rear the house enjoys the stepped garden with its dramatic views and rooms and balcoies along this elevation take advantage of this.
Rooms within roofspace including access to external roof terraces at both ends.
