All Projects are approached as unique, with a completely open mind and no pre conceptions or house styles. When a client approaches with a project, the following strategy is employed to progress:
1. Sit down and patiently discuss the clients lifestyle, budget, likes and dislikes, accomodation requirements etc etc
2. Visit the site and assess its ambience, views, sun path, noise, planting, trees, neighbouring buildings, roads, access, boundaries etc etc
Only when armed with this information am I able to move forward with the creative process. Usually alternative options are prepared before gradually arriving at the perfect design solution fully tailored to that clients specific needs and its environment.
This website contains a whole host of projects undertaken by Carl Ince Architect which illustrate how this process has been employed and resulted in some really great schemes and happy, contenterd clients.
Creativity results in the quality of schemes appearance, inside and out, but also in how well the problem posed by the client at the outset, has been solved.
