Private Practices 

During times when Carl Ince has worked for Private Practices these projects stretch back over 25 years and include an astonishing variety of interesting and rewarding projects in a number of leading commercial practices, some housing and some not. A summary is as follows:

 - Social Inner City Housing Project for East Moors HA in Cardiff which won a Mayors Civic Trust Award (Welsh School of Architecture ' Project Office' ).

 - Extension to the Museum of Wales in Cardiff within courtyard area including Art Galleries on various levels and supplementary accommodation like restaurants, shops, storage, plant etc (Alex Gordon Partnership).

 - Extension to existing wing at the Museum of Wales in Cardiff providing Art Gallery Galleries on various levels (Alex Gordon Partnership).

 - Strategic Masterplan for the East Moors area of the Cardiff Bay area for Cardiff Bay Development Corporation (Alex Gordon Partnership).

 - Numerous Social Housing, Private housing, Nursing homes, Special Needs housing and Student Accommodation projects. (SHAW housing association).

 - Strategic Masterplan for LG Electronics and LG Semicon in Newport. £1.4 billion inward investment scheme (HMA Architects).

 - Refurbishment of 400 flats at Point West, Cromwell Road, London including supplementary accommodation and basement car parking (HMA Architects).

 - Strategic Masterplan for complete redevelopment of Cwmbran Town Centre (HMA Architects).

 - Asda Concept Stores new build (with curved roof) to South Wales and Bristol (HMA Architects).

 - Multi Use inner city development within historic commercial quarter of Swansea for private development consortium (B3 Burgess).

 - PFI funded large new build  'Learning Centre' in Sunderland providing facilities : School, sports and fitness, creche, eating, conference, theatre, IT and Librarty - value £14m (B3 Burgess).

 - Job Centre Plus conversions across north England for DWP (B3 Burgess).

 - Haymarket Metro Station with office over (Reid Jubb Brown).

 - Darlington Memorial Hospital new ITU/HDU department for Darlington Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (Devereux Architects).

 - Darlington Memorial Hospital refurbed A&E and CCU departments, plus enabling works infrastructure facilities for Darlington Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (Devereux Architects).
